Supertails Secures $30M Series C and Sets the Pace for India’s Pet Care Revolution

In an era where pet ownership in India is rapidly transforming into deliberate pet parenting, Supertails — a Bengaluru-based full-stack pet care platform — has just raised a $30 million Series C funding round led by Singapore-based Venturi Partners. This major capital infusion marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of India’s pet care ecosystem and cements Supertails’ position as one of the category’s most promising startups.

A New Growth Inflection for Pet Care in India

Founded in 2021 by Varun Sadana, Aman Tekriwal, and Vineet Khanna, Supertails began its journey as a pet supplies marketplace. Over time, it has expanded into a comprehensive, tech-driven pet services platform that integrates e-commerce, in-clinic veterinary care, at-home services, and rapid delivery — tailored for urban pet parents seeking both convenience and quality.

The pet care market in India is witnessing accelerated demand, driven by rising disposable incomes, changing lifestyles, and increased humanisation of pets. Investors are taking note: this $30 million Series C funding represents one of the highest rounds for a pet care startup in the country and reflects stronger confidence in the sector’s long-term potential.

Strategic Capital: What the $30M Will Fuel

The fresh funding from Venturi Partners, along with participation from Nippon India Alternative Investments, Titan Capital Winners Fund, and existing backers like Fireside Ventures, RPSG Capital Ventures, Sauce VC and Saama Capital, is earmarked for rapid expansion and ecosystem scaling. Supertails plans to deploy this capital across several high-impact areas:

Scaling Clinical and Veterinary Services

Supertails currently operates four veterinary clinics in Bengaluru. With the new funding, the company plans to increase this network to 15 clinics in the city within the next six months and later expand into other major Indian metros. These clinics are not just transaction points — they function as comprehensive pet health centres offering preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, grooming, and pharmacy services.

Rapid Delivery & Logistics Expansion

The company has been strengthening its quick commerce capability with dark stores supporting 30-minute delivery of over 30,000 SKUs. By the end of this quarter, Supertails aims to operate around 60 dark stores across Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai — positioning the brand for speed and convenience that today’s pet parents demand.

At-Home Veterinary Care Footprint

Supertails’ at-home vet services, introduced recently, now cover nearly 90 % of Bengaluru with next-day appointments and fast response times. This mobile care service is designed to meet rising demand for convenient, compassionate veterinary support outside traditional clinic settings.

Technology & Personalisation

Investment will also support further enhancements to Supertails’ digital platform — including richer personalization, tailored product recommendations, and AI-driven insights to help pet parents make smarter decisions about nutrition, wellness, and behaviour.

A Journey Fueled by Strategic Funding

Supertails isn’t new to scaling with capital support:

  • In late 2025, the startup was in active discussions to raise $15 – $20 million, signaling early investor appetite in a competitive market.

  • In February 2024, it raised $15 million in a Series B round, led by RPSG Capital Ventures — a move that accelerated its technology investments and offline expansion into physical clinics and pharmacy services.

The progression from Series A to B and now a significant Series C reflects Supertails’ transition from marketplace to holistic pet ecosystem leader.

 Strengthening the Pet Care Infrastructure

Alongside funding, Supertails is actively building physical and human infrastructure:

  • As of December 2025, it expanded its veterinarian network to 100+ trained professionals and added multiple new clinics in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to quality care delivery.

These steps underscore a broader strategy — combining digital reach with physical care touchpoints to deliver a seamless experience for pet owners who increasingly expect both convenience and expertise.

 Market Context: Why This Matters

India’s pet care sector is expanding at a notable pace. Analysts estimate the industry may reach multi-billion-dollar valuation in the mid-to-long term, driven by pet population growth and premiumisation of services. Supertails’ model — integrating e-commerce, rapid delivery, expert care, and proprietary clinics — aligns with global trends where successful platforms are built on trust, repeat engagement, and deep customer relationships.

Final Takeaway: Setting the Standard for Full-Stack Pet Care

With this $30 million Series C funding, Supertails is not just scaling operations — it is laying the foundation for a pan-India pet care infrastructure that blends digital convenience with trusted medical and wellness services. As pet parenting shifts from sporadic purchases to continuous, full-lifecycle care, platforms like Supertails are well-positioned to lead this transformation.
